about me.

I'm Hayley Branson, a photographer/designer based in the Bristol area. In 2014,  I graduated from Bath School of Art and Design with a First Class (BA) Honours degree in Photography. Influenced by the world around me and the natural landscape, my work mainly focuses on travel and documentary photography.

In 2010, I caught the 'travel bug' and spent a year in Australia, little did I know that it would give me 'itchy feet' for the next 10 years (at least). Working, travelling and photographing anything and everything I could see enabled me to hone my skills prior to studying Photography and provided a solid foundation of knowledge. During my time at University, I travelled to New York, Iceland, Berlin and Barcelona continuing to be fascinated by the changes in culture and landscapes. The next 'big' trip was New Zealand in 2017 before Iceland and Africa in 2019, Ecuador & the Galápagos and Canada in 2022 and Borneo, Mexico, Belize and Guatemala in 2023. Throughout 2024 there were many adventures, Finland and the Northern Lights in Jan/Feb, Ireland, and Europe during the year and Mexico in November. In January 2025, I completed a dream of seeing all 7 continents, with a trip to Antarctica.

As a family we have always spent holidays within the UK. Cornwall has become a firm favourite and I have always loved visiting the same places and seeing how light and time can change a landscape. Other locations include: Brecon Beacons, Wales; Tiree, Scotland; Ring of Kerry, Ireland.
